WILD ATLANTIC SEA SCALLOP 10/20 (SASHIMI GRADE)

Placopecten magellanicus are bivalve molluscs and are one of Canda's most important commercial shellfish species. The scallop is possibly best known for its beautiful and distinctive circular-shaped shell that can reach up to 20cm in size.

Scallops are naturally low in calories and fat. It contains around 17.5 of protein and less than 1g of fat per 3 oz which can supply 14% of women's and 9% of men's recommeded daily intake.

Scallops are rich in vitamin B-12, a 3 oz of scallops provides 75% of the recommended dietary allowances. Our body needs vitamin B-12 because our nerves and DNA need vitamin B-12 to work properly, otherwise, you may become anemic if you lack of vitamin B-12.
